During the 2019--2020 school year Riverbend Community Math Center worked with advanced 5th and 6th grade students at Liberty Elementary School to provide them with weekly math enrichment.
The Riverbend Community Math Center worked with teachers and administrators in the School City of Mishawaka to identify ways of improving K-8 math instruction. The Riverbend Community Math Center provided professional development sessions for teachers, modeled instructional strategies in classrooms, presented fun math activities, and mentored teachers on an individual basis from 2009 through 2015.
During the 2010-2011 school year, we partnered with Indiana University South Bend to offer a Math Circle for Young Middle School students after school, made possible by a Dolciani Grant from the Mathematical Association of America.
