Members of the Notre Dame extended Research Community invite their colleagues at Notre Dame and the surrounding K-12 institutions to join them in building a rich and vibrant culture while engaging in science and engineering research/education. NDeRC offers an array of programs for students and teachers to become involved in research experiences facilitated by faculty and students at Notre Dame University.
The Riverbend Community Math Center has assisted with several NDeRC programs for students and teachers by presenting hands-on math activities that relate to science concepts. In July 2011, we assisted with the ENVIRO institute coordinated by NDeRC by presenting one morning of hands-on environmental math activities for K-12 teachers.
