Michiana Astronomical Society is an astronomy club based in the South Bend/Mishawaka Indiana area. They meet regularly and also sponsor special events to promote awareness of astronomy to the general public.
From 2011 to 2017, Riverbend Community Math Center has partnered with the Michiana Astronomical Society to co-sponsor and assist with events such as AstroFest, the Transit of Venus Scavenger Adventure, Comet Ison Festival, and the Total Solar Eclipse. We also provided space and support for a weekly Young Astronomer's Club organized by the Michiana Astronomical Society during the spring of 2015.
