IN-MaC creates a stronger, more competitive manufacturing ecosystem for Indiana and the nation. IN-MaC does so by mobilizing its resources, expertise and network to strengthen the relationship between workforce education, technology adoption, and manufacturing research to elevate Indiana as the manufacturing destination of choice.
During the summer of 2021, IN-MaC provided funding for electronics and other materials needed for our Girls' Digital Electronics Bootcamp and our Prototyping Team meetings. This enabled us to permit our students to take a deep dive into desgining and refining light-up medallions incorporating basic digital electronics skills including soldering, entrepreneurship skills, and programming skills (students used G-Code to program an XY-plotter, a simple CNC machine).
